{"id":1220,"date":"2018-08-24T20:31:22","date_gmt":"2018-08-24T17:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.innersound.ro\/en\/?p=1220"},"modified":"2018-08-24T20:31:22","modified_gmt":"2018-08-24T17:31:22","slug":"rowan-tara-de-freitas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.innersound.ro\/en\/2018\/08\/24\/rowan-tara-de-freitas\/","title":{"rendered":"Rowan Tara de Freitas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rowan Tara de Freitas is a multidisciplinary artist and educator from the UK, based in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>She uses photography, film, writing and performance to create meeting points between live, recorded and observed actions, and to play with the boundaries of documentation and storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>Through investigating everyday phenomena that link the personal to the political, she creates dialogues between public and private space, language and intimacy.<\/p>\n<p>Often experimenting with celluloid film and hand-made photo chemistry, she brings the process out of the lab and into a collaborative and performative setting.<\/p>\n<p>She has participated in three international artist residencies; TANTEO, Sound Development City and MultiMadeira.<\/p>\n<p>She has collaborated with artists, musicians, sound artists, choreographers and theatre practitioners and has performed and exhibited work in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Serbia, Greece and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Handmade Image <\/em>is a collaborative 3 stage workshop on the construction of photographic devices and home-brew developing chemistry via accessible analogue and digital tools.
